Name: Alecto Carrow
House and Year: 5th year Slytherin
Age: 15
Wand: Ten and half inches, oak, flexible, dragon heartstring.
Blood: Pureblood.

Physical Characteristics: Alecto is a very attractive girl, as are most pureblood wizards and witches. Her later years in life are harder on her, so these are definately her glory days. She is only about 5'1 or 5'2 in height, but has longish legs for someone as short as she is. She is decently formed and curvy, but not overly so. She has long brown hair that cascades to her shoulders with hazel eyes that can go from being wide and innocent, to narrow and angry. Alecto has no muscles and is a little too much on the skinny side. If she chooses to show you a real smile, it can brighten up a room.

Biography: Alecto is half French and half Scottish. Her mother's side reluctantly let her daughter marry a pureblood Frenchman, as long as they lived in England. She was born to parents who really didn't want her, but instead wanted her twin, Amycus. She, surprisingly, loves her brother very much and is close to him (although she finds him incredibly obnoxious and very spoiled). Her mother was only twenty when she had the twins, so she is still immature. Alecto despises her mother because she is much more mature than the woman who gets to control her life. Her father is a different matter. He loves Alecto but isn't quite sure how to show her that he loves her. He favors his daughter over his son but still didn't want her because she would never be able to carry on his name. Of course, Alecto rejects his affections, thinking they are false.
After a boring childhood of parties and private tutors, Alecto and her brother were sent to Hogwarts where they were sorted into Slytherin. In her third year, she immediately took a liking to Arithmancy for some odd reason. She also likes Transfiguration and Charms, but seems to always get in trouble because she's arguing with the teachers. Alecto hates Herbology with a passion for whatever odd reason. She thinks it's pointless and has the lesser students do her work for her.

Personality: Alecto is a very intelligent and clever girl. She loves finding out what's going on around her. Also, she is surprisingly sweet for a Slyterin (although she would never, EVER show this to anyone but her closest friends, of course). Alecto is a very distrustful girl, which causes her to be paranoid. This can be good and bad at the same time. Although she is smart, she never applies herself, but still manages to get by. She may be quiet, but she'll always tell anyone (including professors) what she thinks of them or of what they've said. This, if said to the wrong person, causes her to get in trouble, a lot. She can be very arrogant or very self-conscious, depending on her mood (which can change quickly if you say or do the wrong thing).
